TOLEDO, Ohio - The University of Akron women's soccer team fell 3-0 on the road at Toledo on Sunday (Oct. 8) at Paul Hotmer Field.

A pair of second-half goals propelled Toledo to the triumph.
Freshman GK Sara Bower (Cincinnati, Ohio) led Akron with one save. The Zips recorded 12 shots in the loss, seven of them on goal. Akron faced nine Toledo shots, four of them on net.
