MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - The University of Akron women's soccer team and Central Michigan played to a 0-0 draw on Sunday (Oct. 15) at the CMU Soccer Complex.
How it Happened
Led by junior Emma King's (Akron, Ohio) game-high six shots, Akron recorded 17 shots in the scoreless tilt, with six of them on goal. The Zips faced nine Central Michigan shots, two of them on goal. Freshman GK Sara Bower (Cincinnati, Ohio) led Akron with two saves en route to earning her second shutout of the season.
