Zips Land 12 on NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Award List

AKRON, Ohio- The Akron Zips softball team saw nearly half of their team from the 2022 season earn NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete distinction, with 12 student-athletes earning honors.

To be honored, a student-athlete must maintain a grade-point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) and play in at least 50% of the scheduled contests. 7,527 collegiate student-athletes across all division levels collected Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2021-22 school year.
