MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - University of Akron lacrosse sophomore Noelle Boyd (Murrysville, Pa.) registered her fourth straight and ninth overall multi-goal performance to headline the Zips' efforts in a 12-4 Mid-American Conference setback at league-leading Robert Morris on Saturday, April 16.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The Colonials scored the first three goals of the afternoon before Boyd scored the first of her three goals in the match on a free position attempt at the 4:25 mark of the first quarter.
• Junior Abby McMullen (Medina, Ohio) connected on her fourth goal of the season with 10 seconds remaining in the opening stanza on a successful free position shot.
• Robert Morris closed the half netting all three tallies in the second quarter to assume a 7-2 halftime lead.
• Boyd found the back of the net at the 3:12 mark of the third quarter before capping the scoring in the match with her team-leading 33rd goal of the year with 14 seconds remaining.
• Boyd led Akron with five shots.
• Freshman GK Hannah Sanders (Massillon, Ohio) made a career-high 13 saves for the Zips.
