WHAT'S AHEAD
The Zips, under the guidance of head coach Chris Sabo, is coming off a 1-5 start, earning their first road win of the season against Lipscomb and fell in three games to No. 15 ranked Georgia. Akron is batting .234 with a 7.45 ERA and a .959 fielding percentage. Akron registered 46 hits led by graduate student Nick Arrivo and freshman SS Cameron Benson with a .364 and .304 batting averages, respectively. Arrivo registered eight hits while Benson has seven hits on the season. Benson went 6-for-13 in his collegiate debut with a homerun, a double and five RBI.
