2021 ACADEMIC ALL-MAC LACROSSE RELEASE

CLEVELAND, Ohio -Â The University of Akron lacrosse team earned eight selections when the Mid-American Conference released its 2021 Lacrosse Academic All-MAC team on Monday, June 28.

In all, 77 student-athletes from all six conference institutions were honored including redshirt juniors Anna Dennison (Fallston, Md.) and redshirt freshmen Julia Frombach (Avon, Ohio), Alexis Kiefer (West Chicago, Ill.), Kaija Kunttu (Zionsville, Ind.), Abby McMullen (Medina, Ohio), Sarah Pattison (Cincinnati, Ohio), Abby Schaefer (Beaver Falls, Ohio) and Kendall Sweeney (Shaker Heights, Ohio).

To qualify for the Academic All-MAC Teams, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the scheduled contests and/or completed at the league championship in the particular sport.
