Zips Football Holds Pro Timing Day

AKRON, Ohio — Zips Football held its annual Pro Timing Day on Friday morning at Stile Athletics Field House.
Fourteen participants, including 11 graduating seniors and three former Zips, endured a morning of skills tests for scouts. A total of 12 professional teams were represented, 10 from the National Football League (NFL) and two from the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Members of the media and current Zips players, as well as the participants' family members, were on hand to watch.
The 2018 NFL Draft is slated for April 26-28 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will be televised live by ESPN/ABC as well as Fox/NFL Network.
