Zips Softball Announces 2016 Fall Schedule

AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron softball program and head coach Julie Jones announced the Zips' 2016 fall schedule spanning the month of September.
The Zips open fall ball in Youngstown, Ohio, for a double-header on Sept. 9. In game one of the twinbill, Akron will face Youngstown State, while squaring off with Slippery Rock in game two.
On Sept. 16, UA is in action twice at Firestone Stadium in Akron, Ohio, going head-to-head with Ashland University followed by a contest with cross-town rival, Kent State.
Akron hosts two games on Sept. 25, versus Youngstown State and the University of Pittsburgh.
The Zips wrap up fall ball in Cleveland, Ohio, with a double-header against Cleveland State on Sept. 30.
