AKRON, Ohio— Akron Athletics invites all football fans to its annual Meet the Team event, set for Sunday, August 21, at InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Members of the Zips' football team and coaching staff will be available on the field for photos and autographs. Children may participate in on-field drills with the players. Games and inflatables will be set in the North endzone. Concessions will also be open. Season-ticket holders will receive FREE food.
There will be plenty of fun and food for the entire family. Fans are asked to enter the stadium through Gates 2 and 3 (Vine Street). FREE parking will be available in Lot 10 (behind the Stile Athletics Field House).

In the Stadium:
11:30 a.m. - Gates open
12:00 to 12:15 p.m. - Performances by members of the Marching Band and Cheerleaders
12:15 to 12:30 p.m. - Coach Bowden speaks
12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. - Autographs and photos on the field
- Football drills on the field for children
NOTE: This is a rain or shine event.
The Zips, under the guidance of fifth-year head coach Terry Bowden, return 48 letterwinners, including seven starters, to their spread offense and 4-3 defense.
Season ticket plans—which include a ticket to all six home games as well as a parking pass— start at only $60 each. Renewals (for current season ticket holders) and new seats are now available for purchase by calling 1-888-99-AKRON (25766) or visiting The C.P. and Cornelia S. Chima Athletics Ticket Office at InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field (located at 375 E. Exchange Street, near Gate 1 at the southwest corner of the venue, at the corner of E. Exchange and S. Union streets) during business hours (Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
Single-game tickets are on sale now for all six games, starting at $15 each.
All-Access 10 Packs, which contain 10 undated vouchers, are available for $100 and can be used for game tickets for any of the ticketed sports.
The Alumni All-Sport Plan, which has season tickets for all six ticketed sports [football, men's soccer, women's soccer, volleyball, men's basketball, and women's basketball] as well as a $20 donation to the Z-Fund, is available for $175.
