Softball Restructures Series Schedule with NIU

AKRON, Ohio -- Originially scheduled for one game on April 8 and a twinbill on April 9, the Zips and Huskies were forced to make a few schedule changes in attempts to play all three games this weekend. Akron and NIU are now scheduled to face-off today, April 8, in double-header action starting at 3 p.m. with game two to follow at Lee Jackson Field. The third game between the two schools will be played Saturday or Sunday, weather depending. The time for first pitch is TBA.
