Softball games cancelled for Saturday and Sunday at George Washington Colonial Classic

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Due to field conditions, Akron's originally scheduled games as part of the George Washington Colonial Classic on Saturday and Sunday have been cancelled.
The Zips (3-2) will return to action March 7-9 when they travel to Kissimmee, Fla. for the Rebel Spring Games. Akron will play six games in three days, taking on Sacred Heart, Niagara, Temple, Utah Valley, Saint Peter's, and Bucknell.
