AKRON, Ohio – Second-year University of Akron head football coach Rob Ianello was a guest on today's SportsTalk with Earle Robinson program on WKAR 870 AM in East Lansing, Mich. Ianello's participation in the program was part of a series with the show previewing the Mid-American Conference football season.

The 2011 edition of the Akron football team is scheduled to report to campus on Aug. 3. The squad opens the season at Ohio State on Sept. 3 and faces MAC opponent Temple on Sept. 10 in its home opener.
