AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron football team's regular-season finale versus Buffalo on Friday, Nov. 26 at InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field will kick off at 2 p.m. ET and be televised regionally via SportsTime Ohio.
SportsTime Ohio is a Northern Ohio-based regional sports network reaching 2.8 million homes statewide, plus an additional 3 million homes in bordering states and on satellite via AT&T U-verse, DirecTV and Dish Network.
In July 2010, the Mid-American Conference office announced a three-year agreement with STO, which will provide an expanded number of televised conference football games, men's and women's basketball games, both conference basketball tournaments, ancillary programming opportunities and additional neutral site conference championship programming in the sports of volleyball, baseball and softball.
The Zips-Bulls matchup concludes a two-game, season-ending homestand for Akron, which starts with a contest against Miami (Ohio) on Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. The UA-MU game will be televised nationally on ESPNU. A variety of promotions and special events will surround both games, including $5 off any reserved or general admission ticket with an AAA or Sheetz card (presented at the Akron Athletics Ticket Office at the time of purchase).
Also available is the "Zips Football 4-Pack." Priced at $60 (a savings of $40), the package includes four lower-reserved tickets, a parking pass in a tailgating lot and a $10 concessions voucher. Packages must be purchased prior to gameday; and tickets, parking passes and vouchers will be mailed to fans who purchase at least five days before the event date. Packages purchased less than five days prior to gameday can be picked up at will call at the main ticket office any day between the time of order and game day.
