Softball's Final Fall Tournament Canceled

Akron, Ohio - Due to field conditions from all the recent rain, softball's final fall tournament has been canceled. Set to play in the annual Together Against Breast Cancer tournament at Firestone Stadium, the Zips were scheduled to play two games against Gannon and Robert Morris.

Akron will begin its 2011 campaign on Feb. 11 traveling to the Southeast Louisiana Lion Classic for a six game stand.
