Softball Canceled For Friday, Saturday

With more than an inch of snow on the ground, and more of the
white stuff in the forecast for Saturday, the University of Akron's
softball doubleheader with Toledo scheduled for today has been
canceled. In addition, its single game with Bowling Green,
scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m., has also been canceled.
On Saturday at 10:30 a.m., University officials and coaches will
meet to determine if the weather will allow for a doubleheader
between Bowling Green and Akron on Sunday afternoon. Stay tuned to

Notes: The Zips Easter Egg Hunt, scheduled for after the
game between Akron and Bowling Green on April 7, has been
postponed. It will be made up at a later date. For more
