Softball Tournament at Tennessee-Martin Canceled

AKRON, Ohio - With the forecast calling for cold, wet conditions in Martin, Tenn., the Tennessee-Martin Hospitality House Classic softball tournament, which was to have included the Akron Zips, has been canceled.

The tournament was to serve as the 2007 season opener for Akron. The Zips will now wait until next weekend when they travel to Chattanooga, Tenn. for the Panera Bread Classic at Tennessee-Chattanooga, Feb. 23-25.
