Kassie Kadera begins her first season with Akron volleyball as a volunteer assistant coach after a remarkable four-year playing career at the University of Toledo.Â
The Aurora, Ill. native, who will work with the Zips setters this season, was a three-time All-MAC selection and ran the Toledo offense at the same position for the last four years. She finished her career second in program history in career assists, totaling 1,170 assists and averaging 11.04 assists per set as a senior in 2011.Â
Kadera graduated from Toledo in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management. She resides in Akron, Ohio.
