Nicole Krueger enters her sixth season as an assistant coach for the Akron women's soccer team and is involved in all facets of the Zips program.Â
Krueger spent two years as a graduate assistant for the Akron women's soccer team where she completed her Masters in Exercise Physiology and Adult Fitness.
Krueger played for head coach Noreen Herlihy for four years at Slippery Rock University. While at The Rock, she helped her team to a PSAC Championship, three NCAA Sweet 16 appearances, and an NCAA Elite 8 appearance.
In her senior year, she earned several honors as a Capital One Academic All-American and PSAC Top 10 Scholar Athlete. She also served as President of SAAC, Vice President of Lions Club, and was also a member of the SRU Athletes for Forgotten Angels that worked on service projects domestically, and also in Haiti and Nairobi Kenya.
She graduated in 2015 at the top of her class with a bachelor's degree in exercise science.
After graduating from SRU, Krueger worked as a personal trainer and youth soccer coach in several locales across the country, including her hometown of Scottsdale, Arizona.
