Leslie Henny is in her second season with the Zips Women’s soccer program. Henny assists in the day-to-day operations, as well as overseeing the teams sports performance program.
Henny played three years at Slippery Rock University for head coach Noreen Herlihy after transferring from Division 1 Bowling Green. At Slippery Rock, Henny won a PSAC Championship, made one Sweet 16 appearance, and an Elite 8 appearance. She also received Second-Team All-PSAC honors twice, and Third-Team NSCAA All-Atlantic Region. Additionally, was a PSAC Scholar-Athlete.
Henny graduated from Slippery Rock with a bachelor degree in exercise science and continued her studies graduating with a master’s degree in exercise science and health promotion from California University (Pa.).
Henny was also a personal trainer and sports performance coach while attending graduate school full-time for masters degree in sports science.
