at Dalton HS: Placed third at the 2007 AAU Junior Olympics Nationals (held in Knoxville, Tenn.), clearing 11-0 ... set school, conference and area record for the pole vault (11-9) ... also set championship meet record in the pole vault a the Wayne County Athletic League Meet (11-4), Norwayne District (11-3) and Fairless Regional (11-9) ... was a two-time Ohio Division III runner-up, clearing 11-8 in 2008 and 11-4 in 2007 ... added a third-place finish at the state championships as a sophomore (10-9) and ninth-place finish as a freshman (10-0) ... was a four-time regional, district and conference pole vault champion.
