as a senior (2012-13): Honorable mention in the Mid-Atlantic Conference for air rifle…at the NCAA Qualifier, Nicole tied her personal best for the 60 shot air rifle with a score of 577…averaged 572 in air rifle and 556 in smallbore…reached a score of 565 in smallbore twice, once in a match against Navy and again in December’s Western Intercollegiate Rifle Conference Postal.
as a junior (2011-12): Earned honorable mention All-Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference for air rifle and was on the Academic All-MAC team ... was fourth on the team in season average for the 40 shot air rifle (382) ... took first place in air rifle after shooting a personal best 588 against Rose Hulman ... won the air rifle against University of the Sciences (Pa.) and Indiana (Pa.) with a 584 ... had a 564 in smallbore at the January WIRC event ... a member of the first place Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference team for smallbore and the MAC second place air rifle team ... also a member of the Western Intercollegiate Rifle Conference 2nd place smallbore and air rifle teams.
as a sophomore (2010-11): A member of the MAC 2nd place smallbore and air rifle team and the WIRC 3rd place smallbore and air rifle team.... also received honorable mention All-MAC for smallbore and was the winner of the WIRC 5th place air rifle handicap award which recognized her as a most improved shooter ... ended the season with a bests of 565 in smallbore and 577 for air rifle.
as a freshman (2009-10): Was a part of the Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference (MAC) 1st place smallbore team and a member of the MAC 2nd place air rifle team, along with MAC All-Academic and WIRC 3rd place smallbore rifle team ... also managed to be on the Western Intercollegiate Rifle Conference (WIRC) 1st place air rifle team and Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) All-Academic team.
Prior to UA: Joined McGuffey High School (Pa.) rifle team her freshman year and was named to the varsity squad where she was elected captain ... assisted her high school squad to three state championships in Pennsylvania ... in high school she qualified to shoot as a PA individual three times in career ... shot for the Frazier Simplex and 4-H rifle clubs ... only shot 4 years of Olympic rifle before college.
Personal: Daughter of Bill and Vicki Dietrich ... Born and raised in Washington, Pa. ... Studying sociology/criminology law enforcement ... hopes to one day join the FBI.
