as a senior (2011-12): Fired a school record score of 200-16 in the prone position for smallbore at the Palmyra Invite ... named to the Academic All-MAC team ... led the team in smallbore with a 570 at the MAC Championship ... also shot a pair of 570's in air rifle and smallbore against West Virginia ... his air rifle score against WVU led the team ... a member of the first place Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference team for smallbore and the MAC second place air rifle team ... also a member of the Western Intercollegiate Rifle Conference 2nd place smallbore and air rifle teams.
as a junior (2010-2011):, Remained a S.A.A.C. representative for the rifle team organizing much of the teams community service ... opened up with a pair of 567's in small-bore for the November and December WIRC matches after missing all of October with an injury ... came back with a 574 at USP tying his previous record, followed by a 572 at MSU ... improved his scores with a 576 in air and 562 in small-bore against OSU ... led the team in small bore with a 574, shooting his personal best and season high during the NCAA qualifier ...also trumped his air score with a 579 placing him second on the team
as a sophomore (2009-2010):, Was voted team captain by his peers ... also joined the Student Athletic Advisory Counsel where he represented the Rifle team on athletic affairs ... stand out small bore performances came during the WIRC and MAC Championship matches, where he shot a respective 567 and 564 respectively ... his best small bore match came when on road against Rose Hulman by shooting a team high and personal best 569 small-bore leading the Zips to a 4569-4454 victory ... personal best 574 at Coast Guard during the MAC Championship.
as a freshman (2008-2009): Finished the year in 13th place in the WIRC smallbore individual standings with an average of 557.2 ... also finished 25th in the air rifle individual standings with an average of 373.6 ... finished third (566) in the smallbore and 11th( 558) in the air rifle against Indiana University of Pennsylvania (Jan. 24) ... placed 13th in the smallbore with a score of 557 and 18th (563) in the air rifle against West Virginia (Jan. 31) ... took 13th place (544) in the smallbore and 18th (555) in the air rifle against the University of Sciences in Philadelphia (Nov. 8) ... finished 13th (563) in the air rifle division and 14th in the smallbore division against Morehead State (Nov. 22) with a score of 550 ... fired a 540 in the smallbore and a 554 in the air rifle against Tennessee Tech (Oct.10) to finish 12th and 16th respectively ... placed 20th in the smallbore (530) and 22nd in the air rifle (551) at the Boilermaker Invitational (Oct. 18) ... shot a 563 in the smallbore to capture sixth place and 12th (570) in the air rifle at the NCAA qualifier in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to UA: Started shooting unofficially at age four when his father came home with a Daisy BB gun ... began shooting competitively when he was a HS freshman as a member of the Vienna Cougars Junior Rifle Club in Vienna , Ohio ... by the end of his first year with the Cougars he was averaging 186.6 out of 200 with a high score of 197 ... fired a 525 out of 600 while competing in his first Buckeye League match on the international targets ... took 6th in the 3p outdoor state of Ohio match ... finished a close second behind UA sophomore Josh Fabajiance in the prone match ... was also on the National Champion prone Team at Camp Perry ... averaged mid 540's by the end of his high school career ... was on the international target and clinched the State of Ohio Three position Champion title and finished second in prone.
