2004-05 JUNIOR: One of seven players to see time in all 29 games... Games played tied for fifth best all-time by an Akron junior... Two starts, one in the season opener at Drake (Nov. 19 ) and the other at Western Michigan (Jan. 8)... Tied career-high in points with 13 at Kent State (Feb. 26)... Has hit that point total three times in his career... That was one of two double-digit scoring outings, with the other being a 12-point effort versus Niagara (Feb. 19) in a game that was part of the ESPN Bracket Buster Saturday pool... Had nine points in the Mid-American Conference opener at Northern Illinois (Dec. 4)... Matched a career-best three assists against Toledo (Feb. 14)... Grabbed a season-high six rebounds on five occasions, including in both of UA's MAC tournament games... Led the team in rebounding twice... Season-best three blocks in the 66-60 overtime loss to Western Michigan in the MAC tournament quarterfinal round at Cleveland's Gund Arena... Logged a season-high 32 minutes in that Western Michigan contest... 20 blocks ranked third on the team, and his 0.69 blocks-per-game ranked him 14th in the league.
2003-04 SOPHOMORE: Played in five games before being declared academically ineligible at the end of the fall semester... Best outing of the season came at top-25 ranked North Carolina (Dec. 14), where he grabbed five boards, had four blocks and scored two points in 16 minutes of action... Played 12 minutes in the season-opener at top-25 rated Cincinnati, tallying a pair of rebounds...Also saw time at Hampton (Dec. 1), versus James Madison (Dec. 6) and against Duquesne (Dec. 17).
2002-03 REDSHIRT FRESHMAN: Saw action in all 28 contests, starting the last six games of the season... Filled in for the injured Matt Seibert along with fellow big man Nick Meyers... Averaged 6.0 points-per-game, 2.6 rebounds-per-game and led the team with 20 blocks... Those 20 rejections ranked him 13th in the league in that category (0.71 bpg)... Played a career-high 35 minutes against Kent State (March 1) scoring 10 points and pulling down three rebounds... Grabbed a career-high eight boards in the MAC Tournament opener against Ohio (Mar. 10)... Tallied a career-high 13 points twice, against Ball State (Jan. 4) and Ohio (Feb. 23)... Also set career highs in assists with three at Kent State (March 1) and steals with two against Buffalo (March 8)... Scored in double figures five times, two of which came in conference competition.
2001-02 FRESHMAN: Utilized a medical redshirt season after suffering a stress fracture in his right shin... Saw limited minutes in five games before sitting out the remainder of the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: All-Ohio special mention... All-Southern Hills League first team as both a junior and a senior at Lynchburg-Clay High School in Lynchburg, Ohio... All-district second team as a senior and all-district third team as a junior... Averaged 21.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 6.5 blocks and 4.5 assists per game as a senior... Earned three letters in basketball and two in cross country.
