A native of Akron, Ohio, Sean Carroll enters his first season as an assistant director of operations and seventh season with the Akron basketball program.
Carroll was a graduate assistant and student assistant for the men’s basketball program for six years, including three seasons as head assistant. Carroll serves as an assistant in operations, focusing on day-to-day operations and assisting with practice and player development.Â
Carroll graduated in 2018 with a degree in sports management with a minor in professional selling and completed his masters degree in 2019.
Carroll graduated from Walsh Jesuit High School in June 2013.
