A versatile three-yar veteran who enters the fall No. 2 on the depth chart at the strong safety...a solid special teams performer...one of three Canadians on the roster.
as a Junior (2005): Appeared in 10 games, mostly on special teams...missed three gameswith an ankle injury...finished with 20 total tackles, nine of which were solo...three tackles (two solo) in the Zips' 48-42 overtime win over Northern Illinois (Sept. 24)...had an eight-yard sack in the game...four tackles at Buffalo (Oct. 8)...career-high five tackles (four solo) as the Zips clinched the MAC East Division title with a 35-3 win over Kent State (Nov. 24)...includedin his total vs. the Golden Flashes were two tackles-for-loss.
as a Redshirt Sophomore (2004): Served a back up role in the secondary, appearing in 10 games...finished with a season-best two tackles in a 35-23 win over Ball State (Oct. 23)...had a forced fumble at UCF (Oct. 16), leading to an Akron TD.
as a Sophomore (2003): Injured his shoulder in preseason practice and saw acton in just two games (Kent State, Aug. 28; Wisconsin, Sept. 6)...did not post and defensive stats...had season-ending surgery on Oct. 8...earneda medical redshirt.
at Vanier Prep: Had six touchdowns as a senior defensive back...three interceptions, two special teams fakes and one blocked punt returned for TD...team finished 7-3 in 2002...all-start selection as a senior...2000 track and field state champion in the long jump and runner-up in the triple jump...squad won state track and field title in 2000...coached by Ray Gagnon.
Personal: Born in St. Hubert, Quebec...parents are Kay Nedd and Syney Brown...athletic training/sports medicine major...spends his summers coaching a local youth league.
