Prior to Akron
• All-Ohio honoree and Academic All-Ohio selection as a senior at Jackson HS in 2011
• Ran 1:55.39 in the 800m to finish seventh at states and set a school record as a senior
• Also ran on the 4x800 relay team that took ninth place at states with a time of (7:55)
• Owns the school record for the 400m as well with a time of 50.1
