Bio
Taylor Currie is a 6’9” forward from Clarkston, Mich., who left the Wisconsin Badgers after a redshirt season in 2019-20. He attended Mott Community College in Flint, Mich. And led the Bears to a 23-9 overall record and 10-6 Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) mark. Currie started all 32 games and played 32.0 minutes per game. He led the team in points and rebounds while averaging a double-double on 24.4 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. Currie led the MCCAA in points scored (782), field goals made (330), rebounds (134) and points per game (24.4) en route to capturing first team All-Region, All-MCCAA and All-MCCAA East Division accolades.
Currie concluded his prep career at Clarkston High School as a 3-star prospect ranked outside of the Top 200 in the 247Sports composite rankings for the 2018 class. Currie was once committed to Michigan for its 2019 class, but decided to reclassify into the 2018 class and subsequently de-committed from the Wolverines.
