Set the University of Akron Single-Game Scoring Record with a 48-point outburst against Ball State (1/27/18). Ivey's career-high performance also broke the BSU’s Worthen Arena all-time scoring mark of 41 points previously held by Bonzi Wells (Ball State, 1996) and Earl Boykins (Eastern Michigan, 1998). Ivey's nine 3-pointers set an arena record and he tied the arena record for made field goals (15) set in 1992 by Xavier's Brian Grant.
He is a multidimensional guard that was under-recruited out of high school … a terrific athlete with a good skill level … a skilled player with the ability to score from anywhere on the court.
as a Redshirt Junior (2017-18): Started all 32 games … scored in double digits 20 times, 10-of-the-last-15 games … scored a career-high and school record 48 points against Ball State … tied a personal best 12 rebounds and had four games with double digit rebounds … posted three double-doubles … averaged 33.1 minutes per game with 13.1 points … posted a 40.0 shooting percentage … pulled down 5.7 rebounds per game, hauling in 183 total rebounds with 144 defensive and 39 offensive boards … led Akron with 35 steals (1.1 stl/g) … ranked in the MAC Top 25 in six categories, 9th assists (3.5 ast/g), 9th assist/turnover ratio (1.5), 15th defensive rebounds (4.5 dreb/g), 15th free throw percentage (.763), 20th rebounding (5.7 reb/g) and 24th scoring (13.1 pts/g) … set career highs for points (48), rebounds (12), assists (10) and steals (4)
as a Redshirt Sophomore (2016-17): Appeared in all 36 games … played his way into the starting lineup … made 29 starting appearances … scored in double digits 21 times, 15-of-the-last-24 games … included a career-high 23 points … notched a personal best 12 rebounds … posted two double-doubles against American (12 pts/11rebs.) and Kent State (14 pts/12 rbs.) … averaged 29.2 minutes with 10.2 points … posted a 52.7 shooting percentage, ranked 13th in the MAC … pulled down 5.8 rebounds per game, hauling in 208 total rebounds with 158 defensive and 50 offensive boards … led Akron with 41 steals (1.1 stl/g).
as a Redshirt Freshman (2015-16): Appeared in 32 games … averaged 8.6 minutes, 2.6 points and 1.6 rebounds per game … set a career highs in points (12) and rebounds (8) against Hiram (Nov. 16) … provided a spark in the Zips’ home win against Kent State (March 4) and scored nine points on 3-of-4 shooting (.750) from the field and free throw line.

at Glenville High School/Glenville Academy: Named Division I Honorable Mention All-Ohio honors as a senior (2013-14) … helped Glenville to a spot in the district semifinals in 2014 after averaging 23.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.3 steals per game … earned Second-Team Northeast Lakes All-District honors as a senior …
