Pawleys Island, S.C. – Akron golfers Hridhika Vora and Emily Liptak led the Zips scoring in the final 18-hole round of the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge as the Zips climbed two spots to 14th overall with a 311-306-305 - 922 (+70) tournament total at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club (Par 71 • 6,054 yards).
Vora carded 75 (+4) with 11 par scores and two birdies, while Liptak registered 76 (+5) with 10 par scores and two birdies. Vora (81-78-75), Liptak (79-79-76 ) and Maisarah Hezri (80-77-77) all finished the 54-hole tournament tied at 65th overall with 234 (+21) total scores.
