Vora and Liptak Lead Final Round Scoring, Zips Finish 14th at Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge

Pawleys Island, S.C. – Akron golfers Hridhika Vora and Emily Liptak led the Zips scoring in the final 18-hole round of the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge as the Zips climbed two spots to 14^th overall with a 311-306-305 - 922 (+70) tournament total at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club (Par 71 • 6,054 yards).

Vora carded 75 (+4) with 11 par scores and two birdies, while Liptak registered 76 (+5) with 10 par scores and two birdies. Vora (81-78-75), Liptak (79-79-76 ) and Maisarah Hezri (80-77-77) all finished the 54-hole tournament tied at 65^th overall with 234 (+21) total scores.

Kaitlin Kormuth led the Akron scoring throughout the 54-hole tournament with a 72-75-80 – 227 (+14) total. She finished tied for 33^rd overall and collected 33 par scores and seven birdies.

Sohniya Chandra Mohan finished second in scoring for the Zips with an 80-76-77 – 233 (+20) scorecard and tied for 58^th overall. Chandra Mohan tallied 32 par scores and three birdies.
