FIVE ZIPS EARN ACADEMIC ALL-MAC

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference released its 2025 Women's Golf Academic All-MAC Team as The University of Akron women's golf program had five selections on Tuesday, May 20.
In all, 30 student-athletes from 10 conference institutions were honored including Akron's sophomore Katrin Danielsdottir (Reykjavik, Iceland), junior Emily Liptak (Akron, Ohio), senior Daphne Van Son (Vlijmen, Netherlands), junior Hridhika Vora (Mumbai, Maharashtra) and junior Avery Wright (Jackson, Ohio).
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport and have been at residence at their school for one year. True freshman and first-year transfer student-athletes are not eligible.
