12 Zips Garner Academic All-MAC Women's Soccer Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The University of Akron women's soccer team earned 12 selections when the Mid-American Conference released its 2025 Women's Soccer Academic All-MAC Team on Wednesday (Dec. 3).

In all, 138 student-athletes from 13 conference institutions were honored including seniors Kaylen Goddard (Mechanicsville, Md.), Emma King (Akron, Ohio) and Kylie Schiemann (Geneva, Ohio), juniors Sara Bower (Cincinnati, Ohio), Olivia Heskett (Lewis Center, Ohio) Jordanne Oberhaus (Wadsworth, Ohio) and Rachel Wenzel (Akron, Ohio), sophomores Kailyn Biecker (Wadsworth, Ohio), Allie McMillen (Shreve, Ohio), Kaitlyn Rogowski (Hilliard, Ohio) and Eesha Sutharshan (Knoxville, Tenn.) and redshirt freshman Ariana Vakos (Avon, Ohio).

To qualify for the Academic All-MAC Teams, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the scheduled contests for that particular sport.
