AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron men's soccer team travels to Kalamazoo, Mich., to renew its rivalry with No. 5 Western Michigan on Friday (Aug. 30). The 5 p.m. match with the Broncos will be broadcast on Bronco All-Access.

Senior Wan Kuzri Wan Kamal (Carbondale, Ill.) registered the goal for the Zips on the strength of assists from junior Stefan Dobrijevic (Uniontown, Ohio) and redshirt senior Emil Jaaskelainen (Bolton, England) in a 1-1 draw at No. 2 Notre Dame.
A year ago, Jason Shokalook posted team-high marks in goals (14), assists (5), points (33), shots (83), shots on goal (41) and game-winners (3). Redshirt junior GK Mitch Budler (Lincoln, Neb.) collected 33 saves and owned a 0.76 goals against average with eight shutouts last season.
