Men's Basketball Reveals 2024-25 Conference Schedule

AKRON, Ohio. - The Akron men's basketball team unveiled its upcoming Mid-American Conference schedule on Wednesday, August 14.
The Zips will play an 18-game conference slate with all times to be announced later. Dates are also subject to change.
The conference office will release a full men's basketball television schedule in October.
Conference action begins for the Blue and Gold on January 4 when the Zips travel to Bowling Green. The first MAC home game of the year sees Central Michigan come to town on January 7 before the Zips take to the road again to battle Eastern Michigan on January 11. Â
Akron enjoys a two-game home stand next when Toledo and Ohio travel to James A. Rhodes Arena on January 14 and 18, respectively.
The Blue and Gold then travel to Buffalo on January 21 and host Miami (OH) on January 25. The Zips then depart for a pair of away fixtures at Northern Illinois on January 28 and Kent State on February 1 before returning home to host Ball State on February 4.
After hosting the final round of the MAC-SBC Challenge on February 8, the Zips host Western Michigan on February 11. Akron then travels to Central Michigan on February 15 while hosting Northern Illinois on February 18. After that, Akron hits the road for two games when it faces Ohio on February 22 and Ball State on February 25.
The Zips play two of the final three games of the regular season at the JAR. The first of which features Kent State on March 1. After traveling to Toledo on March 4, Akron concludes the regular season at home against Buffalo on March 7.
The men's basketball regular season will conclude on Friday, March 7 with the top eight teams in the conference moving on to Cleveland's Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse for the MAC Men's Basketball Tournament on March 13-15.

Chima Athletics Ticket Office at InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field (located at 375 E. Exchange Street) is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET on Mondays through Fridays.
