AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zips women's golf team is back in action on Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 13-14 at the Wigwam Golf & Country Club in Litchfield Park, Ariz. for the 2024 BGSU Women's Intercollegiate by Bowling Green.

The two-day, 54-hole tournament showcases a 14-team field including, Bowling Green (Host), Abilene Christian, Akron, Ball State, Butler, Creighton, CSU – Bakersfield, Dayton, Grand Canyon, Idaho, Montana, Northern Illinois, Toledo and Western Illinois.

Akron open's the spring season with Daphne van Son leading the starting five followed by Abbi Fleiner, Avery Wright and Jessica Hahn and Hridhika Vora. In addition, Katrin Danielsdottir will compete as an individual.

The tournament is scheduled for an 8 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday (Feb. 13) with continuous play through 36 holes. Wednesday (Feb. 14) final round is slated for a 9 a.m. shotgun start. All 54 holes will be played on the 6,058-yard par 72 Wigwam Blue Course. Fans can follow the action live via GolfStat Live Scoring.
