MADISON, Wis. - University of Akron freshman Bismack Kipchirchir (Eldama Ravine, Kenya) crossed the line in a time of 29:43.3 in the men's 10K title race at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday (Nov. 23).
Kipchirchir was the top-rated finisher among runners from the Mid-American Conference by virtue of a 73rd-place finish.
He joined Marc Migliozzi (2019) Timothy Chesondin (2023) in elite company as the only cross country runners in Zips' men's program history to compete at the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
