AKRON, Ohio - The ninth-rated University of Akron men's soccer team shut out Southern Indiana, 1-0, Monday (Sept. 4) at home at FirstEnergy Stadium.
How it Happened
Akron (3-0-1) broke the 0-0 tie when senior Josef Paulus (Hinckley, Ohio) recorded his second goal of the season in the 53rd minute, assisted by junior Gyuwon Chong (Kansas City, Mo.). The goal held as the only score in the match.
