2023-24 Akron Men's Basketball Schedule
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference unveiled the 2023-24 league slate for the University of Akron men's basketball program.
The Zips will open the MAC schedule on the road, traveling to Northern Illinois on Jan. 2 before playing its MAC home-opener at James A. Rhodes Arena versus Bowling Green (Jan.6).
Akron also welcomes Buffalo (Jan. 13), Western Michigan (Jan. 16) and Ohio (Jan. 23) at the JAR in January, while traveling to face Ball State (Jan. 9), Kent State (Jan. 20), Miami (Jan. 27) and Eastern Michigan (Jan. 30).
Akron kicks off the month of February hosting Toledo (Feb. 3) and Central Michigan (Feb. 6) before visiting Buffalo (Feb. 17) and Toledo (Feb. 20). The Zips return to Rhodes Arena to face rival Kent State (Feb. 24) and completes the month at Ohio (Feb. 27).
The Zips close out their league slate hosting Northern Illinois (March 2) and Eastern Michigan (March 5) before the regular season finale at Western Michigan (March 8)
The conference tournament is scheduled to begin on Thursday-Saturday, March 14-16 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
All dates are subject to change as the conference office will release a full men's basketball television schedule in October. In addition, the men's basketball non-conference schedule will be release in the coming weeks.
