AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zips women's golf team is back in action on Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 6-7 at the Lakewood Ranch Royal Lakes Golf Course in Bradenton for the 2023 Falcon Florida Classic hosted by Bowling Green.

The two-day, 54-hole tournament on the 6,068-yard par 72 course features 12 teams, including Bowling Green (hosts), Akron, Ball State, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Illinois State, Idaho, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Toledo, Western Illinois, and Western Michigan.

Akron open's the spring season with Abbi Fleiner leading the starting five followed by
Daphne van Son, Jacinta Pikunas, Jessica Hahn and Avery Wright. In addition, Hridhika Vora will compete as an individual.

The tournament is scheduled to tee-off at 8 a.m. on Monday with a shotgun start and 36-holes of followed by Tuesday's final 18-hole round with tee times beginning at 11 a.m. off holes No. 1 and 10. Fans can follow the action live via GolfStat Live Scoring.
