Four Zips Earn Academic All-MAC Cross Country Honors

2022 CROSS COUNTRY ACADEMIC ALL-MAC RELEASE
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The University of Akron women's cross country team garnered four selections when the Mid-American Conference released its 2022 Cross Country Academic All-MAC Team on Wednesday, Dec. 21.
In all, 107 student-athletes from all 12 conference institutions were honored including redshirt sophomores Julia Frombach (Avon, Ohio) and Maddie Heimlich (Shelby, Ohio) and sophomores Makenna Heimlich (Shelby, Ohio) and Grace Henderson (Rostraver Township, Pa.).
To qualify for the Academic All-MAC Teams, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the scheduled contests for that particular sport.
