Akron Duo Earns All-MAC Women’s Soccer Accolades

2022 ALL-MAC WOMEN'S SOCCER AWARDS RELEASE
CLEVELAND, Ohio – University of Akron sophomore Ella Hadley (Concord, Ohio) and freshman Emma King (Akron, Ohio) were tabbed as All-Mid-American Conference women's soccer selections the league on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
Hadley was tabbed a Second-Team All-MAC honoree, while King earned All-Freshman team honors.
Hauling in All-MAC honors for the first time was Hadley, who started all 16 of Akron's contests on the campaign en route to leading the team in goals (6), assists (3), points (15), shots (23) and game-winners (1), while ranking second in shots on goal (13). Hadley is rated eighth in the MAC in points per game (.94) and ninth in goals (6), while finishing fifth in league-only affairs in goals (6) and points per outing (1.36).
Named to the All-Freshman team, King garnered All-MAC accolades for the initial time, starting 13 of the 15 games she appeared in for Akron this fall. She directed the squad in goals (6), assists (3), points (15), shots (23) and shots on goal (13), while ranking second in shots on goal (13). King is ranked seventh in the MAC in points per game 1.00) and ninth in goals (6), while finishing eighth in league-only tilts in goals (4) and ninth in points per game (1.10)
