AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zips women's golf team is back in action on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 10-11 at the Catawba Island Club, Port Clinton, Ohio for the Rocket Classic hosted by Toledo.

Akron's starting five is headlined by last week's leader Daphne van Son followed by Jessica Hahn, Jacinta Pikunas and Abbi Fleiner. In addition, Hridhika Vora will compete as an individual.

The tournament field consists of 11 teams at the Par-72, 6,118-yard course, including Toldeo (host), Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Cleveland State, Ohio, Purdue Fort Wayne, Rutgers and Toledo B.

The 54-hole event will begin with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. with 36 holes on Monday. A 9:00 a.m. shotgun start will be utilized for the final 18 holes on Tuesday. Fans can follow the action via GolfStat Live Scoring.
