Akron Swimming and Diving to Host Ball State in Dual Meet

AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zips women's swimming and diving team will be back in action on Saturday, March 13, hosting a dual meet against Ball State at the University of Akron Ocasek Natatorium at 3 p.m.

In relation to current COVID-19 advisories and protocols, the meet will be closed to the public and scheduled to stream live by Zips Digital Network on GoZips.com.

The Zips and the Cardinals last met in a dual meet in 2018-19 at Lewellen Aquatic Center in Muncie, Ind. Akron prevailed 176-121 as the Zips claimed first place in all but one swimming event, but the Cardinals won the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events.

The Zips are currently ranked 32^nd in the NCAA by collegeswimming.com.
