Akron Selected for Third MAC Wildcard Game, Tuesday's Ohio Contest Postponed

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference released two announcements that impact the Akron men's basketball program on Saturday as the Zips were selected for a third MAC Wildcard game, but Tuesday's matchup at Ohio will be postponed to a later date.
CBS Sports Network selected the Akron at Ball State game to be aired on national television. On Friday, Feb. 19, the Zips and the Cardinals are scheduled to tip-off at 7 p.m. at Worthen Arena.
The Zips' CBS Sports Network game scheduled for Tuesday in Athens, Ohio will be postponed due to positive COVID-19 test and subsequent contact tracing within the Ohio basketball program.
Bowling Green will host Kent state on Tuesday, February 9th at 7:00 PM ET on CBS Sports Network. This game is taking the place of the previously scheduled Akron at Ohio contest, which was postponed due to COVID-19 issues.
In addition, Buffalo will host Toledo at 9:00 PM ET on ESPN2 for the ESPN wildcard selection for Friday, February 19th.
