Akron Baseball Announces Winter Prospect Camp Dates

AKRON, Ohio —University of Akron baseball head coach Chris Sabo has announced his first winter prospect camp dates to evaluate 2019-22 high school graduates and junior college players.

Camp dates:
Saturday, Jan. 12 3 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 17 7:30 a.m. ** NEW TIME **

Each session is $150 per camper.

Camps will be held inside the Louis and Freda Stile Athletics Field House (on South Union Street).

Coaches include Sabo and assistants Jordon Banfield and Dan McKinney as well as local junior college coaches.

Campers may work out at up to two positions.

Campers must also fill out the camp waiver form prior to participation in any Akron baseball camp. Parent or legal guardian must fill out waiver for each participant. No camper will be allowed to participate without a completed and signed waiver.

The camp is open to all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender).

No cash refunds will be issued. Campers will receive credit towards a future camp.
