AKRON, Ohio – Three members of the University of Akron women's tennis team will participate in West Virginia's Martha Thorn Invitational this weekend.

Senior Luisa Echeverry (Cali Colombia), senior Carla Flores (Coahuila, Mexico), and freshman Alexis Steer (Powell, Ohio) will compete as part of a combined team with Cleveland State.

Action begins on Friday, Oct. 19, at 8 a.m. at the Mountaineer Tennis Courts on campus. Team participating include Akron/Cleveland State, Delaware, Duquesne, and host West Virginia.
