Women's Soccer to Host 15th Anniversary Alumnae Weekend

AKRON, Ohio – To celebrate the 15th year of the program, the Akron women's soccer team is inviting alumnae to return to campus for the 2016 Alumnae Weekend on Sept. 10-11, to bridge the past with the present of Zips women's soccer.
The weekend festivities begin on Saturday, Sept. 10, with a team and alumnae meal at Bricco, 1 W. Exchange Street, beginning at 5 p.m.
On Sunday, Sept. 11, the weekend continues starting with a pregame social in Tommy Evans Lounge located in James A. Rhodes arena with the current team and coaching staff.
The Zips are scheduled for a contest with UC Riverside at 1 p.m at FirstEnergy Stadium-Cub Cadet Field. The alumnae are encouraged to attend the game and will be recognized at halftime.
The cost for the weekend is $15 per person, which includes dinner at Bricco, game admission for two, and a commemorable 15th anniversary scarf.
