Baseball Moves Saturday's Game against Ohio to 10 a.m.

ATHENS, Ohio – In anticipation of inclement weather, the University of Akron baseball team has moved its first pitch on Saturday, April 25 against Ohio to 10 a.m. at Bob Wren Stadium. Originally, the contest was set to begin at 3 p.m.
The Zips (19-19, 9-6 MAC) open up the three-game series against the Bobcats (23-15, 8-7 MAC) this evening with a 6 p.m. first pitch. Sunday's game will still begin at 1 p.m., as originally scheduled.
Junior LHP John Valek III (5-3, 3.10 ERA) is expected to make the start on the mound for Akron tonight, while junior RHP JT Brubaker (4-3, 3.12 ERA) will throw on Saturday. UA will send redshirt senior RHP Jon Pusateri (3-3, 2.42 ERA) to the mound on Sunday.
