Round One Results
OCALA, Fla. – The Akron women's golf team opened the MSU Ocala Spring Invitational with a round of 313 (+25) to finish day one in 13th place on Sunday.
The Zips are six shots outside the top-10 after the conclusion of round one. South Alabama leads the field by four shots after posting a score of 293 (+5).
Pader Her led the way for the Zips, posting a round of 4-over 76 to finish in a tie for 33rd place. Laura Murray is one shot behind Her in a tie for 41st place after carding a 5-over 77.
Frida Fougberg concluded play in a tie for 55th place after her round of 7-over 79 while Mallory Etcheberry finished in a tie for 70th (81, +9).
Sierra Everson rounded out the scoring-five in a tie for 80th place, posting a round of 83 (+11).
Lesli Stolly, playing as an individual, is in 98th place after her round of 88 (+16).
Round two is set to begin at 1 p.m. ET on Monday with a shotgun start. There will be no live scoring for the event.
