Akron Cross Country earns 13 Academic All-MAC selections

2014 ACADEMIC ALL-MAC MEN'S AND WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS
CLEVELAND, Ohio - Akron men's and women's cross country squads earned 13 selections when the Mid-American Conference released its 2014 Men's and Women's Cross Country Academic All-MAC teams on Monday.
In all, 107 student-athletes from all 12 conference institutions were honored including; junior Kyle Cochrun (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio), sophomore Michaela Foisy (Elyria, Ohio), junior Irene Frangos (Hudson, Ohio), junior Aaron Howkins (Stow, Ohio), freshman Molly Lalonde (Grove City, Ohio), sophomore Karlie Lieberth (Mantua, Ohio), sophomore Clayton Murphy (New Paris, Ohio), junior Trevor Norris (Avon Lake, Ohio), senior Dylan Papp (Green, Ohio), sophomore Marisa Papp (Green, Ohio), freshman Tara Snipes (Covington, Ohio), junior Martin Zegarelli (Erie, Pa.), and sophomore Natalie Zidd (Hinkley, Ohio).
To qualify for the Academic All-MAC Teams, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests scheduled or completed in the particular sport.
