Baseball Revises Midweek Schedule with Ohio State and Pittsburgh

AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron baseball program has altered its midweek schedule with the two upcoming games against Ohio State and Pittsburgh. Ohio State's matchup has been moved up to 5:05 p.m., on Tuesday, while Pittsburgh's game has been moved from Akron to Pittsburgh on Wednesday at 4:15 p.m.

The Zips home opener at Lee R. Jackson field will now be on Friday in the opening game of the three-game series against Mid-American Conference opponent Eastern Michigan University. Akron baseball is currently 7-8 in 2014, following a 1-2 weekend at the University of Cincinnati.
